Mela Ganesh Chauth is not only a time for entertainment , every year it gives us a fine social message. It reminds us of the Nationality, Patriotism, Humanity, Unity and harmony.
Mela Ganesh Chauth committee’s aims and objects are 3 folds :-

• To Promote the Communal Harmony
• To depict the Mythological Events and keep the people afresh of their historical background.
• To Encourage the arts, Culture, Traditions of Local Artists and Upcoming Young Talent.

Mela  is a Symbol of COMMUNAL HARMONY, People of all Religions worship together in Harmony and it makes the Mela a special event and it vibrates in the heart of the people event after the closure. Hindus go to The Mazaar and Present the CHAADAR Sharif to the holy Place likewise, Muslim brothers come to Mandir and receive the Prasad with full devotion and faith.

• A Big statue of Lord Ganesha is being built. This Statue is cement made and it is erected with Lord Ganesha Standing only on one leg. Its Structure exhibits the preciseness, accuracy and the right judgment of the talented sculptors. This the dancing pose of Lord Ganesha and this is called  - “NATRAJ NRITYA MUDRA”
• Big Collosal Huge idols and statues of Various GODS approx. 15-20 Ft. High are built every year under the fine and skilled supervision of Dr. Girraj Kishor Ji. All the sculpture work is done by the local People under the guidance of Dr. Girraj Kishor ji. People work Night and day to present the Idols on the day of RATHYATRA.
• Every year one Idol of Ganeshji is made with the help of Various articles such as grains, Puja Material, Seeds, Dry fruits, Coins, Silver, Golden, Ashta Dhaatu, Plastic Mirror, Glass Mirror, Flowers. • Every year many cultural events and competitions like "ANTAKSHARI", "KAVI SAMMELAN", "DANCE COMPETITION", "SINGING COMPETITION" , "DRAWING AND ARTS COMPETITION" , "MEHNDI COMPETITION" etc. are held in order to upbring the young talent of Chandausi and its surrounding area.  Click Here For the pictures of Cultural Events
• Every Year, "CHAADAR SHAREEF" is organised which is a symbol of communal harmony, on this occasion, all the hindus and Ganesh Family members go to Masjid near Mela Ground and present a CHAADAR. • NARANTAK VADH is organised every year during the Mela Period.
• All the idols and statues of Lord Ganesha are taken to Holy River Ganga For VISARJAN. This is done in the last days of Ganesh Mahotsav. A herd of Thousand of people together reach there dancing and celebrating and let the idols drown into the river with the huge worships and prayers with lord Ganesha to Visit their homes next year soon.
