The Founder of Ganesh Mandir and then Mela Ganesh Chauth Dr. Shri Girraj Kishor Gupta was born in home of Seth Bhupaldas and Smt. Asharfi Devi on 14th August, 1932.

Dr. Shri Girraj Kishor Gupta got his Schooling from S.M. Inter College Chandausi. He Passed 10th in 1947 and then 12th in 1949. Then he underwent the study of MBBS from King George Medical College LUCKNOW during 1950-1955. He is the first MBBS Doctor from the town of Chandausi.
Then he completed MD (Medicine) in 1959 from King George Medical College Lucknow.  He was the first to do so in the entire district of Moradabad. He was the first to have done Kidney Biopsy in India in 1956.

Apart from his professional Achievements, he has a keen interest in Tennis, Badminton and he is a very fine skilled Sculptor. In his personal life, he is a generous and kind person, he is worshipped like God by many of his patients.

He is well known for his kindness, his perfection in his profession of Medical Science and his ever helping behaviour. He has set the new standards of social works, patriotism and welfare of the Poor people. Even today hundreds of poor patients from chandausi and surrounding villages come to his dispensary and get the medicines and other treatment totally free of cost.

Dr. Girraj Kishor Gupta has got many awards, prizes and Samman for his remarkable achievements in the field of Medical Professional, his social work and for the lessons of Humanity that he has taught to the entire world.

His remarkable Achievements include :-

• First MBBS from the town of Chandausi.

• First MD (Medicine) from the entire distt. Of Moradabad.

• Upper class Player of Tennis and Badminton, he has won many prizes on state and distt. Level.

• Distt. Champion of Table Tennis of Lucknow.

• He is a fine, highly skilled Sculptor, he has made many statues like EKTA SMARAK,  Lord Ganesha Statue, Lord Ganesha in Natraj Nritya Mudra etc.

• First in India to have done Kidney Biopsy during his PG Period in 1956.

• Currently practicing in Chandausi. His main motto in the service of poors. Poor people are never charged money for their treatment and medicines. Which shows his generosity.

• Awarded “RASHTRIYA GAURAV” By Govt. Of India.

• Awarded “RAJIV GANDHI EXCELLENCE  AWARD  By Govt. Of India.

• Even at such an old age, he works day and night for the welfare of poors. He holds all the responsibilities of Mela Ganesh Chauth and its all the activities.

• His eagerness to bring about the changes in the society with the help of the activities being carried out with the help of MELA GANESH CHAUTH is really appreciable.
